Remote with EV1527 chip

Bought on ebay as "315MHz 433MHz DC12V 2 Channel RF Wireless Remote Control Learning Code EV1527". I got the 433 version.

Silvan Chip EV1527
http://aitendo3.sakura.ne.jp/aitendo_data/product_img/wireless/315MHz-2012/RX315-HT48R/EV1527.pdf

Is powered by 12V battery type 27A.

PCB seem to have address lines, so PCB is probably reused for other chips\purposes because EV1527 does not have possibility to set address. The spec says 20 bit is used for address (1048576 or 1 million codes). But there is no way to set this code. So I assume EV1527 has a fixed code that is set during manufacturing (a serial number). But I guess this serial number has to roll over after they produce more than 1 million chips. Or maybe they just use some random number, who knows.

The remote seem to be good quality and well working.
As you see, the PCB has 4 buttons but only 2 buttons is made available for some reason.

  1. silvan tech is lousy bad company. Their product does not last. My company used to use buy their ic but most brokedown after 1-3 months. They do not provide technical support and do not care service after sales. They onlt want 1 time buisness like the other scam companies in china.

    1. My company tried to talk to them but they do not care but if you ask quotation again, they reply. Then when you asked the technical support questions again, they ignore you again.
